The client was fed up with possums and Bower birds stealing his precious vegetables and crops that he was working so hard on growing. The client wanted to maintain the hardwood look that the property was constructed from.
This added a slight cost, but does add a rustic appeal to the structure. Note how tight and straight the wire and post work is. It is very difficult to get this element in an enclosure, and only through years of experience have we been able to perfect this look. We put crushed granite paths in that were packed in so as they have a very hard finish and won’t run away when it rains. The beds are all constructed out of hardwood sleepers and we fill with a special veg garden soil mix. This photo is 3 months after construction with the garden in full production mode.
